Duursma a corky and didn't train much I'm told. As much managed as anything.

Fair reason but we still hope Port lose, I’m not even joking ;)

Team sheet says omitted, not injured or managed. He is named as an emergency.

Just read this from anAFL media scribe ....

“Interesting comment from Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley in his press conference. He says Xavier Duursma was dropped, not rested. "He was ok, but he hasn't been shooting the lights out."
Duursma had 22 disposals and eight marks against the Crows last week”

Ken needs to lay off the Coke cans. He didn't play in the SANFL which to me suggests he was rested. After todays effort he would have to come straight back in you would think

You have to have an emergency, like last week when Boak went out in the warm up.

He didnt play for the Magpies either so we know in this town if you don't play a game after you are dropped you are not allowed back into the AFL side...

Little mate UK won't be able to keep his hands off himself over the next few weeks as crowds vote with their feet. Lots of disgruntled Ports fans out there.

Think they already have. 33k yesterday. 25k v WB. Both wet but it is a winter sport.

Far from defending Port but Sunday twilight is the worst possible time slot and in similar conditions Richmond could only attract 38k to the MCG yesterday despite their 100,000 members.

Crowds are down across the comp, people are voting with their bums.

2019 - 35,626
2018 - 36,687

Yeah, I agree, it's a shit time to go to the footy. Can't let your hair down, get on the sauce and kick on afterwards. You might as well schedule the match first thing Monday morning.

Damning isn't it. AFL need to listen to the fans very quickly...

9000 people per week ( a good Gold Coast crowd ) are choosing not to go, they have to listen.

Not to mention the people not listening on the radio and watching on TV (not sure on ratings for both though).
I know I am usually a neutral watcher and listener of football when its on but this year I haven't been.

X 2

I’ve seen 1 game other than a Carlton game in its entirety this year.
Normally I’d watch 2-3 per round in previous years.

You’ll get smashed in any weather. Must be frustrating putting up with this garbage for such a long time - I’m not being smart either, I just can’t understand how a club with a history that Port Adelaide has puts up with it.

With his hands I'd imagine.
