I was referring to Goddard and Phillips when I said the two named above.

Maybe she doesn’t deserve one - is that for us to decide though? Is it for us to critique? Why can’t people just accept it and be happy for her.

Annoys me these days that when someone does something or is recognised for something it’s got to be criticised and compared to someone/something else... especially on social media where so many creatures through out their vitriol.

Anyway, I’m not here to argue it.. each to their own.

Apologies I thought it was Goddy and I you were referring to as the two above.

I think it’s ok to question why some people are recognized and some are not but yep we all have our opinions. Plenty believe Margret Court should not get the award.

I say give umpires nothing :-P :-P

I realise she has done a fair bit for women in football but it’s hardly worth a OAM

Gee Booney is nearly 50,000 posts, does he deserve an OAM for services to SA Footy? ;)

Only those inside the 4 walls know, given he turns 32 mid year it seems like a stop gap.

Without knowing what sort of these personalities are like I'd be thinking there's really only Gunston, Ceglar, Bruest or Shiels that would qualify for experience and job security.

Mitchell is in the 6 man leadership group.

Worpel in his 4th year has been added, looks like he might be the one long term.

It’s a shame Burgoyne never got to captain either club he played for.

I think it will be for one or two years until Sicily is back. Given he misses this season, then give him one more to get back in the groove and becomes C in 2023
