Not many brain cells between Wingard and Westhoff let me tell you.

So with the confirmation that Fisher has a fractured leg does Howe now cop a week or two for the deliberate trip?
Think he might get a week for his punch on Cripps aswell

He is in trouble for both. The punch can only be treated as intentional, and he may get away with careless for the trip. Every chance he gets up to 4 weeks total.

I thought it was a free (for the trip) at the time but I don't think he should get games. So he'll get 4.

Apparently it was sparked from racial abuse...not sure from which group though

How hammered was the Melbourne bloke. Couldn't get out of his own way lol.
Security poor. Responsible service of alcohol out the window.
Ban the lot for 3 years minimum.
Very poor look for the cats.

I'm a big Hurn fan but I thought he was going to be watching for a few weeks based on other instances.

Howe got 2 weeks for striking Cripps and his trip on Fisher has been referred straight to the tribunal.

Gee, the lad had a big opening few minutes, see you next year son, tripping is pretty much the worst thing you can do on the footy field.

Considering his leg is broken he's going to have a decent holiday and so he should.
And the way carlton are going they are sure going to miss him.

Still probably less pain than having to play.

This system still doesn’t sit well with me. Deadset unlucky he broke his leg, definitely feel for Fisher but Howe’s split second reaction happens quite a bit in plenty of matches.
Once again a player is being suspended on the outcome, not the action. If he didn’t break his leg it would’ve been a fine.

I thought even Cutler was unlucky. He had already left the ground before Murphy had and the nudge from the defender pushed Murphy into contact with Cutler. Another decision based on the outcome.
