I think we need to roll the dice with him yes. Could be a difference. Parsons has been terrible the last two weeks......I think that ankle is no good

If you could guarentee me a Grand Final loss to Richmond for the Crows i am more than happy for them to win this week. Mind you if Richmond make it and the Crows dont they do have a nice record we can trot out for another year, longest Grand Final drought in the league

This "haven't made the GF" stat is hilarious. Most would prefer to win one rather than just make it, that's the only stat that matters. Every other team for the year has failed.

I couldn't give two shits if we make it if we don't win it...trot out "it's been 20 years since you have won a GF" before "second longest streak not to make a GF" is even relevant. And to that point...I could not give even more shits how long it's been since another club has won it (except for maybe Port ;) )

I think all Cats fans would want the Motlop of the last two finals to be at the club. But the Motlop of the majority of the season is extremely frustrating for Cats fans. Clearly has the talent but at times looks like he couldn't be arsed. In September this year he did. Even though he wasn't great against Richmond he still covered plenty of ks and tried to get into the action.

Agree with you REB, he showed he is an asset when he is willing to work hard.

I think it depends on what Geelong are looking to do going forward. If you are looking for bit of a rebuild you might be ok to let him go.

Geelong won't go the rebuild. We've just recruited Dangerfield, Touhy, Henderson and Smith to keep the window open. We will be back in the market again but one thing we'd be reluctant to let go of is anyone with some legspeed as it's not a strength.

Chuck in Ablett and Stringer and they're not going the rebuild, not for a few years anyway.

Not sure how we get Stringer TBH. Aren't Essendon keen? I'd rather Devon Smith if we could scam him but everyone is after Smith.

Two comprehensive prelim losses which shows how far behind they are being genuine contenders. Go the rebuild now

although i thought the crows would improve in 2017, i didnt think we would finish top and win pretty easily into a grand final. so stranger things have happened.

as we have seen with Fremantle and to a lesser extent Hawthorn though, it is really tricky to know when to continue to go for it or when to go into rebuild mode

you have given away this years first rounder though, correct? that tells me they will go for it again. the pain may come if they have to give away next years to get smith or stringer.
