Why do the Crows have to have a player rushed to hospital every preseason?

Symes
Van Berlo
Reilly

Dont know what happened to Brent, but the other two were due to stupidity.

Van Berlo's was a freak accident, far from stupidity

Hearing a clash of heads for Brent.

Obviously wasn't using it correctly...stupidity.

Clash of heads is an accident, so that ones not in the same bracket.

I'm all for Crow bashing, but you're way off the mark.

I'm sure Adelaide will be happy to have you attend and show them how to properly use the resistance sled that van Berlo was injured by.

Hopefully you can explain to them how the sled that Ian Callinan was dragging could have been prevented from hitting van Berlo, who, while back turned didn't actually have a sled connected to him. So, I guess you're right, he wasn't using it right as he wasn't using it at all!!!

Stupidity or accident? I'm going the latter.[/quote]
Well then Callinan was the stupid one.

If you're pulling a heavy object along the ground close enough to other people that you can take their feet out, its stupid.

couldn't agree more, I actually can't believe this has happened at a professional sports club. One of the private gyms I use to go to had a area set a side for this, why because people can easily get hurt if they get in the way.

Coming from the guy that thinks Essendon football club isn't calling the shots with the current situation it's players are in. You've done a lot of pulling lately maybe you should look in the mirror

People, please. You clearly know nothing, naught, pretty much **** all about the incident and you're calling people stupid?

It can only be termed as a freak accident. In fact, when it happened, van Berlo wasn't even going to seek assistance until he noticed the sled had "nicked" the skin and split him open a bit, then upon making moves to get that looked at he felt it was something more sinister.

Now I'm going for an acid bath. I've defended Adelaide AND van Berlo twice in under 24 hours.

I feel, I don't know, I've never felt this way before*.

It's unpleasant.

I can only go on whats been said about the incident. If what has been said on here is true, then it is a stupid incident that should of never happened. When i've seen sledge runs done there is always a clearly marked area which to run in and the people not runnings must be behind the start line. It's not hard to do and the reason you do it, is because incidents like this can happen.

People in grammatically challenged glass houses, dear Kickinit, should be not throwing the word stupid around so liberally.

I don't through them around liberally at all, I save them for the special ones. Just so you know you are one of the special ones.

That's because he know's i'm right. Anyone with half a brain would understand the importance of safety when your undertaking a task such as this. It's not like he cut a cut on the leg, he got smacked in the head and is now in the ICU and more then likely will never play footy again.
