Serve the Crows right, they spent the off season defending poor management and refused to stand up and sack those responsible for it all, now the same attitude has clearly spread into the playing group as evidenced by the way they went about it tonight. Not surprised at all.

stiify has to go cant kick goals for us and all he seems to do these days is throw himself around trying to play for free's .. think he should put the cue in the rack and call it a day at this level. andy otten well frig me how slow is this guy jogs on the spot does not chase back to south for you. bernie you are a goose if you just worked harder to get to that contest you wouldnt have had to hit the player late and seal the deal for the power...well done to thommo, sloan, and prob wright and douglas all solid contributors.. gee i hate loosing to this mob but they bloody deserved it they play a exciting brand of footy the will hold them in good stead going forward.. congrats power

Yep but Mitchell ran with pace and carried the ball, Vince burnt it and gave away a crucial 50

great win by port today just a question I know when tippet went to Sydney most crow supporters said we will play better without him but I think they are missing him would most agree??? or is it they have a different game plan now he is gone??? I don't watch the crows much so not sure how much the game plan has changed from last year....

Agree, he went missing but he wasnt the worst. Port were everywhere and they never gave up, evident early when Westhoff ran Dangerfield down. If we keep playing like this it will be a long season. Port could well be 5-1 (possibly West Coast only loss) after 6 games. They look good, I am impressed, before tonight I didn't think much of their start due to the quality of opposition but the way they are playing would push some of the top sides, If they kicked straight game would have been over at half time!

Agree!

Jenkins who I think has lots of talent and will be good is struggling in the here and now playing on the second defender and now they don't seem to have a third target which Jenkins was so good at last year

Tex still has too many brain fades, I know he is no rocket scientist but if eliminates these fades he will be a far better player. That tunnel ball throw of his was pathetic and cost a goal but the worst was when he played on after a Johncock free, ran into an open goal and sprayed it. He also hit the post from 15m out early.
I dont like seeing him in the defensive 50 either, plays too far up the ground at times. He should camp himself in the goal square and play as a set forward

Spot on, he could be so much better if he just stays inside 50, his kick is normally on the money, so far this year he has missed some easy shots! Having said that he wasn't the Lone Ranger this round, there were some absolute stinkers this round!

I would of had tex in my best for the crows. delivery of the ball later in the game wasn't the best for him. it also looked as sanderson was pushing them all up to stop ports ball movement. When he was allowed to sit back in the 50 and the ball was put out in front or to his advantage he was giving us a bath.

He looked good early playing on Trengove but even Jenkins looked good when Trengove went to him
Petrenko and Trengove should of played on each other to see who was worst on ground today.
Jonas looks far better at the back

Crows need a 2nd ruckman instead of using Jenkins which forces Walker up to CHF and makes it easy for defenders to double team him. Leave Walker at FF, Jenkins at CHF and ruck Jacobs and whoever else they pick as second ruck off the bench.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Johnston needs to play next week after kicking 7 for North Adelaide. Would be a good Half forward option that may let Walker play closer to goal. Ken would of been laughing when he saw Walker up the ground.
