Have they ever backed up empty statements with actual effort over the last couple of years?

West Coast and Adelaide, both with much aplomb I might add, have demonstrated off field dramas equal on field problems in recent times, Melbourne might just be the next.

On to last nights game some of the Ruck taps last knight were elite especially some of the "back-hand" taps to advantage from both Gawn and Grundy.

The new interpretation allowing Ruckman to hold position with their arm and protect their space if they read the ball best appears to be a good move based on a sample size of n=1

The "Matt Primus is too big and strong" rule has been reintroduced.

Grundy's knee to the kidney of Gawn might be a precursor of things to come for smaller rucks.

Then watch the AFL introduce a rule to ban jumping at ruck contests...

Probably not the last helmet to get tapped by a team mate in the change rooms.

Strongly doubt it, Sydney are almost cherry ripe, they’ll be very hard to beat at home, it’s been their downfall over the past couple of seasons IMO, nearly IMHO

Another Norwood legend. And from good Geelong bloodlines too.

No way last nights crowd was 40k. Listed capacity is 48k.

Closer to 30k.

McKay kicks a straight drop punt and goals.

Looked way better than his around the body which he would have done last year.

Wanker Goal Umpire alert.

Get off the ground if you can’t see that.

This is better by Carlton. Brisbane with 3 set shots for 3 behinds may prove costly.

Good to see Docherty back on.
