Cant believe tom scully has only been mentioned once. Surely he is the number 1.

The only person(s) he is overrated by, are the GWS list managers.

I certainly can't recall anybody ever rating him.

Love the profile signature, mate.

That line will line up as one of Bruce's best lines along with his call of Cathy Freeman's win in the 400m at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

couldn't agree more mate :D

the whole call in general was great that day and Bruce has said after that was the best GF he's ever done

This was supposed to be about over-rated players, not commentators, which Bruce would no doubt be No. 1.

Bruce is overrated. The majority of the 7 commentary team are rubbish including Dennis. Talk too much shit and just need to call the game. Starting to go down the path of my grandfather and muting the TV and putting on the radio (no 5aa).

Isn't Dennis due to hang up the mic at the end of the season?

I thought I heard something early last year he was going to retire at the end of this season.

Steve Johnson. No longer a major influence but still called Mr Magic and such. Wouldn't mind seeing some.
Luke Bruest. Absolute seagull who kicks two metre goals and everyone praises his accuracy.
Chad Wingard. Once a top midfield prospect but now hangs out the back for easy kicks and gets a wrap for jumping on backs cos he doesn't jump in packs.
Travis Cloke. Big lug forward who should be smashing apart packs but instead misses goals Levi Casboult would kick.
Sam Reid. Has been talked up for years but is so bad Sydney lost their COLA in order to recruit real forwards.

You are overrating these guys by mentioning them in this thread. Only Murphy is overrated and that's because he disappeared up his own arse when Hodge broke his jaw. Hasn't been the same since.

Goodes, Goodes, Goodes, Goodes and **** Goodes, so happy to see him making a dick of himself by playing on, everyone but him could see he was finished last year.
Had Sydney won the flag he wouldve retired making his decision to play on the wrong one for all the wrong reasons.
At least Longmire has shown he doesnt care who you are he will drop you ala O'Keefe last year

actually he's not... Longmire pretty much sums it up in the first minute or so of the video here.
