Mick must remember just after he got arseholed from Collingwood he spent a year analysing games, coaches game plans, player development at other clubs, the manner in which clubs prepare, every facet of the game and on every club he passed comment on and it would have made him a tidy little living for that time.

Time for someone to tell Mick to pull his head in.

Really? Than our senior coach having spats with reporters? FFS, if Yarran's smile is more important than your coach going off the rails - and not focussing on what IS important, then I'm Thorpy's love interest.

I said this a few weeks ago after watching him in a post match talk

All journalists should stop asking him questions.
Just let him sit there.
He is a $hit coach and always has been
It is always about him
I still haven't forgotten how he treated Jason Cloke in the 2003 Grand Final (which Malthouse lost due to his arrogance)
I hope he stays at Carlton forever - they deserve each other

Mick isnt that bad of a coach.
Carlton's list is full of d graders id defy any coach to get that lot into finals. They have paid the price for ordinary recruiting over the years and the worst thing is I dont think they have bottomed out just yet. Some lean years coming up

No, I just wrote it for fun. It's an appalling look for a club, but it is Carlton I guess and you've accepted it since Fevola put himself above the place, why start worrying now. Don't forget your lube.

I wouldn't have him back, he's gone bonkers.
I'm not writing Bucks off yet, either. I always said this would be a rebuilding year for us, younger side. Although, defensive injuries have hurt us a bit.
Must admit though, I was seduced by the run of form we had after that first loss.

Is Micks current antics a sign of the changing/poor administration above him? While I'm definitely not a collingwood fan they are a well run club, an environment where these antics are less likely to happen, or stamped out quickly when they do.

Much easier to get the players, supporters and others to buy into what you are trying to do if you are a good public speaker.

Also helps for motivational purposes game day too.

He is a good public speaker. Do you think he'd be captain of an AFL club, let alone a coach, if he wasn't?
Business-like, granted. But he is not a bad public speaker and has a very dry sense of humour.

Captains can be different imo because you can be the type that leads by their actions.
