I was going to say, no need to over react, too late.

Anywho, why dont you just go to the airport and sing the Crows song to him when he comes down to collect his bags? Heck, you might not even need to take bits of paper with the words to the song on it!

Some apricot slice would be nice with the tea while you wait though.

Just because with Sydney being so dominating recently it gives us a chance to see how good Tippett really is. Surely he has the best team in front of him he's ever head to feed him opportunities.

TSG - what are your expectations?

Hopefully a win. Going to be a nightmare for port trying to get the right match ups.
As for Tippett, 4.0 would be fantastic.

I seriously can't wait.

How loud will the "boos" be when Tippett goes near the footy?

Why would the Power fans boo Tippett and if any Adelaide fans are going to the game just do this then they need to get a life.

crows fans dont go to watch their own team in a showdown when it's a Port home game, i very much doubt any of them would go to the game this weekend.

Geez get over it! The one you should be abusing and threatening is Trigg who is the main culprit for all of the Tippett saga yet he keeps his job despite the massive $$$ and other grief it caused the Crows and will for a couple of years re draft picks?

So I read in the paper that "those close to Tippett say he is unassuming, a footballer that just goes about his business as is ver respectful of those around him" I guess that is until he leaves those around him and think a text message is a respectful way to tell them.

Apparently Tippett is a model footballer. Spends heaps of time with Paul Roos at the swans junior academy, has been training the house down, and gets along well with everyone at Sydney.

Think you better focus on the people at Adelaide that drove him away.

Even as a port supporter I'd like to see him go OK after sitting out a suspension that wasn't really his fault.

Although I hope he doesn't play as well as Jesse White did against the Crows 2 weeks ago.

I didn't see the game. What was the verdict? 3 goals I think seems a decent start after so long off.

2 goals. Should of been 3.

Started like a house on fire. Faded out after 1/4 time, but the Swans didn't have many opportunities in the last half. Credit to Port.

Tippett did contest hard, but it wasn't a great day for 6'6" types.

Got to hand it to him, he was very good last night.

Don't think anyone drove him away it was just that he didn't want to live in Adelaide, just like Troy Selwood cut his career short by refusing to play for Adelaide.
