Cannot believe there are 4 spelling mistakes - I assume its someone behind the scenes who made the errors, and not Roo himself.

- Jaensh
- Porplysia
- Hartle
- Westoff

How unprofessional can a newspaper actually get!

it is the advertiser. Rupert should be ashamed

LMAO Strawb. Like he would give a $hit.

He probably wouldn't care about editing errors like this, but then again he'd be a little concerned about the drop in sales in recent years, and it seems inevitable the printed version will cease some time in the short to medium term (with perhaps only a digital version to remain).

Great to see a massive amount of hype around the game but I am still confident we can get a win. Port have started really well and winning form is good form but you have to question the level of opposition. The Crows were beaten well against Essendon and beat Brisbane at The Gabba which is a tough gig so they have at least had some competition. Having said this, Port seem a different side this season so far and look like a big improver, they have a good draw for the first 5-6 weeks so once you are on a roll anything can happen.

Brisbane some good competition? You do remember brisbane got spanked by the bulldogs the week before, a team that everyone has predicted to finished towards the bottom. Going by recent years form counts for nothing in a showdown. it's a very passionate game between both sides and people that don't follow the crows or power a tough game to pick no matter of how each team is travelling.

 Brisbane are always competative at home, not to mention the conditions the game was played in and the fact they beat us last season up there ;)

as you said form means nothing in showdowns!

I'd be wary of Port but Crows must be expected to win and it's not good if they dont.

I was happy with the Crows against Brisbane. Once again under Craig I reckon we would have lost but numerous times over the last 2 seasons we fall behind in matches or get challenged and then we respond to then get up. People can come back and say soft draw blah blah blah but you still have to win those games you get challenged in. It doesnt mean you'll win the flag this year but it shows what you stand up and believe in and eventually that success will become consistent and get rewarded. I love the character the whole group has however we are 1 quality tall short in the forward half and 1 in the back half to be a genuine contender imho.

Saying all that I still expect the Crows to win, wont be easy but and if Port win they are well and truly on the right path.
