Richmond 2013

Talk on the national game

I will go out on a limb and say that the tigers will be fighting for the top 4. If Delidio spends the year in the midfield, there midfield will be very good. And get it out the middle and hit Edwards on the chest who doesn't miss or put it on Jacks head, they will look good
Also remember they Belted both last years Grand finalists

"Going out on a limb" ?????

Wow, could they really be "fighting for the top 4" ? who would've thought.... All the following teams will be fighting for the top 4

Sydney
Hawthorn
Carlton
Collingwood
Essendon
Richmond
West Coast
Fremantle
Adelaide
St Kilda
Brisbane

The rest will be fighting for top 8 - but I'm not going out on a limb...

Cotchin's the only one they've got. Deledio massively overrated, Martin may get there - but he isn't there yet.

Once again they will promise alot and deliver eff all. Maybe the Suns can beat them for the 3rd year in a row.
Couple of decent players but overall a very average squad still and picked up a couple more rejects this year to add to the last.

Agreed joker, needs to play permanently in the midfield, sick of him playing off half back not being an out and out defender getting cheap kicks, he's better than that.

I'll take that limb. They'll be nowhere near it. Gotta make the 8 before they can make the 4.

Depends which Richmond comes out to play. At their best top four but at their worst bottom four...

Big call coming from you. Your squad is not any better if not worse. More upside at Punt Road than Windy Hill. Dimma putting together a good team of goers.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Think where Lonergan is sums it up best, a crap team like Essendon doesnt rate him so an even crapper team picks him up and thinks they can make him less potato like. Both teams bottom 8

Lonergan can play. Methinks Bombers made a mistake letting him go.
A lot of other spuds I would've kicked out first. Leroy Jetta would be number one.

The problem is always the two Richmonds. One richmond is a top 8 contender and the other is a team that crumles to the gold coast. Thats the problem......as good as they get they seem to be that bad as well.

Thats the problem with Richmond and their supporters, they think that Maric, Grigg and Houli are going to take them somewhere, yes they have made you more competetive but you are a long way off challenging for a flag and those players will not be part of a successful finals campaign imo

in your opinion...

Well i never said they were going to take us somewhere and win us a flag, i was saying that everyone would of thought those 3 were rejects, yet they have actually shown something since being at the tigers (all finished in the top 10 of the B&F). They are by no means superstars but Grigg and Houli are only 24 while Maric is 27. Still got some footy to come out of these blokes and probably their best footy.

The main purpose of stating these 3 names was to defend the Chaplin, Knights and Edwards pick ups that imo will follow similar footsteps of the above 3. New scenery together with a new challenge and Knights and Chaplin are only 26 and Edwards is 28. So there is probably a case of their best footy to come too.

Those players above together with the development of the young players we have coming through is forming a pretty decent side that can be competitive in a finals series imo
