I tried to pick a team that could actually go out on the field and play a game. Not having 6 rebounding defenders and having 8 midfielders.

Enright – I couldn’t think of a small defender
Crowley – Every team needs a good tagger

I was trying to think of players that actually play in the BP.

I could just be lazy and just name Glass.....

Probably heaps unlucky but I did this in 5 minutes

Scarlett haha

Instead of criticising everyone, put your team up mate. Not that I disagree with you.

B J.Gibson L.McPharlin T.Lonergan

HB B.Waters T.Richards B.Delidio

C K.Jack J.Watson L.Jetta

HF D.Beams M.Pavlich P.Dangerfield

FF S.Milne L.Franklin S.Johnson

R S.Jacobs S.Thompson G.Ablett

Int J.Roughead, J.Kennedy, T.Cotchin, A.Swallow

Of those i left out that others had:
Hawkins- no way, couldnt hit the side of a barn until 5 weeks ago
Scarlett- Lonergan way in front
2nd ruckman- Apart from West Coast no one plays 2 pure ruckman so went with roughy, he also gives the option of going with 3 talls up forward
Swan, Pendles etc have had good years but not as good as the other midfielders.
Enright-very poor start to the year.
Petrie, sorry just dont rate him, has more really bad games against the good teams than he does good.
Glass- McPharlin has been super this year at FB.
Birchall- took along time to get going
S.Mitchell- much better year last year, wont poll anywhere near the 30 brownlow votes he got last year

I tossed up between S.Johnson and C.Rioli for FP and went SJ. I think this is the only toss of the coin selection in my team, the rest pick themselves and the ones that have missed out don't deserve it
Milne easily the best goalkicking small forward again.

Fair line up. Lonegran would've made my emg list, most of who you had on your missed list I thought the same thing, I agree with Stevie J over Cyril.

I can't take any team without McPharlin seriously. Bloke is a champion.

Talia will get the Rising Star which will probably keep judges from giving him an AA gig.

I picked Scarlett because I wanted to pick a team that could actually go out on the ground and play a game. Not picking 6 running defenders. I couldn't think of a small defender that is worthy of AA. Gibson sucks along with the rest of the Hawks defenders.

Watson definitely unlucky, has carried his side for most of the year.

Scarlett, Enright, Crowley  Chapman.

Watson - Must be the starting centreman.

And the AA side IS NOT picked with your criteria.

Drew Petrie - absoloute bum. Lucky to get a game with North. (only kicked 55.15 so far)
Takes the best defender every week, freeing up Tarrant & Hansen and thus building their confidence. Starting to see the rewards now(but don't let the facts get in the way).
One on one he's almost unstoppable and has probably been North's best player in the last 10 - of which they've won 9.
I can understand why the learned (who no doubt watch him every week)on here don't rate him, I really can.
North should trade him at season's end - I hope he's out of contract.

I know all australian is a fairly new concept but it's based on the year in question not am entire career.

Scott Thompson should have been in last year's team and has been better this year. Must get in to the on ball battery.
