Adelaide kissed on the **** with their run home.
Adelaide v Hawthorn GF - Carn the Hawks
Brownlow - Thompson, Mitchell, Swan ( could be a two or three way* tie )
Rising Star - Tahlia. looks real good this kid.
Adelaide kissed on the dick with their run home, but they deserve it after where they finished last year really. Kissed on the dick yet you tip them to make the GF. interesting
Huh? What does last years run have to do with the draw they get this year?
They've had two very good draws in a row now. I think they'll make the GF because they will finish top 2, on the back of a soft draw. Then they'll get at least two home finals.
Little doubt they are a genuine contender, but their draw has given them a foot up with a top 2 finish and the other major contenders are fighting for spots pretty much each week from now until finals. After Geelong away they get :
Essendon and Freo at home, Brisbane and Melbourne away, Gold Coast at home. Kissed.
I'm pretty certain you're a closet Crows fan too.
No doubt i am a crows fan if they aren't playing the tigers mate.
The crows finished very low on the ladder last year, and with the inability to play everyone home and away to make it a fair draw for all, clubs that finish higher the year before will generally play other high placed sides as there second games. Those that finish lower on the ladder generally play each other twice the next year. Obviously games taken into account are Showdowns, Carlton v Richmond, Essendon v Collingwodd, Derbys, Q Clashes and the likes...
The draw last year was supposed to be good but where did they end up? Not many people would have thought Melbourne would have been a third 'expansion' club this year...
