if Hunt wanted too he couldve crushed his hand but as has been mentioned just did enough do Betts couldnt move it.

And i didnt see Betts really remonstrate about it.

Ducked the head two weeks ago, steps on a blokes hand last night. Tough guy indeed.

I think that was three weeks ago and the next match he came out and took on some physical clashes without ducking the head but yeah he's got form for sure. Are you seriously worrying about someone stepping on a bloke's hand? I couldn't care less if it was Eddie doing it to Hunt a real nothing issue.

At the time I didn't think much of it but watching this threads opening post slow motion images, there are clearly two motions. He liftsnhis foot in order to place it down on Betts' hand. It wasn't an accident which in my book makes it look pretty average.

There would be some blokes on the regional forums here that would remonstrate a lot more than Betts did if it was a game at Greeenacres. ;)

So its ok to bag a guy for standing on someones hand but you will defend a guy who comitted the most cowardly dog act there is. Obviously we see things differantly but eye gouging is the lowest act possible regardless of what club they come from. Would never defend an Essendon player if they eye gouged someone

Never said I condone or defend it. This is about hunt and I commented on this incident. Not snipe from afar like yourself about an incident 2 years ago

Im just defending Hunt, cant believe everyone is in hysterics about something thats so minor and on the scale of things is nowhere near as bad as some of the stuff that goes on.

Correct, clearly two motions. Wrapped betts up beautifully and got the holding the ball free kick. Brilliant move. There was no intent to cause injury, so what's the big deal?
The only thing in this threat that's pretty average is all the blokes complaining about a good tackle. Most of these same blokes will then also grizzle that the AFL is over sanitising the game.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Hunt didn't tackle Betts. Scarlett did.
