Gunston and Tambling are good ins.
Walker and Symes terrible outs.
Petrenko had to go, agreed, but Schmidt has proven time and time again he is dead-set hopeless.
Would have been a great opportunity for Walker to kick a bag on some spuddy GC defender (Hunt) and run into form.
Symes is a proven ball getter and I thought he has been far from our worst recently.
Seriously, the Crows selectors need to be asked "WTF is going on?"

Agreed. Don't like Walker or Symes out, don't like it at all.

Seriously - what is Henderson doing to keep getting selected every week??

Henderson over Walker.

Classic.

Petrenko being dropped after 1.5 quarters in a side that lost by 96. Also hilarious.

some very poor outs from the crows this week. As has been said Walker should be in the team to get some spud defender and kick a bag. doesn't seem to be to many changes to our dysfunctional midfield that let maloney get 19 clearances or what ever it was last week. Dont mind sellar coming back in for a bit of height at centre half back.

My only argument with this set of changes is about whether Tambling should come in.
He looks good at times and hopeless at others just like Walker..
Sellar is a question mark - presumably he is showing something at training that doesn't show in the SANFL, at least in games I see or hear.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Should be happy with a 50 point win but it wasn't that great. :?

Walker got 7 for Norwood.

Great win by the lads. Season back on track now.

Good attempt there tigers - now just get rid of the generous helping of sarcasm and you might just get the hang of it.

Well we got the win, and by nearly 10 goals which is a reasonable effort.

Tell you what I was worried early in the first, but as the game wore on it was pretty clear that one man can only do so much, and that applies to even a brilliant footballer like Ablett.

I thought that we showed some really good toughness around the packs this week, with Dangerfield & Sloane in particular working hard. I also liked that the more experienced blokes (Reilly, VB, Knights, Thompson) actually stepped up today and led the team as they should.

Unfortunately we still got smashed in the clearances, and the turnovers from skill errors are still there - something a better team will capitalise on.

Certainly nothing to get too excited about - but there was run, hardness, and some ticker on display which is a vast improvement on last week.

A win is a win, and four points is always something worth smiling about. :D

For those who are interested - I've started writing about Adelaide games for The Footy Almanac. Here is my first effort on Saturday's game:

http://footyalmanac.com.au/?p=23439

If you're unfamiliar with it, The Footy Almanac is a website on which fans submit 'fans eye view' coverage of games and is run by well known journalist John Harms and others. At the end of the season a book is published covering every game of the year.

Great effort Ginger but one tip I will give you is never start by telling us about the weather.
Make mention of it by all means, but don't lead with it.
Otherwise, detail was excellent. Summed up my feelings too (although I wasn't there) Lol.

I remember coming off the field Saturday and someone said "Crows four goals down against the Suns" and I immediately felt crook. Lol.
Then I loaded up the iPhone and saw the final score, relief.

Mate - you should've heard it at the ground. Ablett is a freak though, his first 10 mins were some of the best footy I have ever seen anyone play. In the end he's only one man though, thankfully!
