And the Hawks knocked off the Cats, and the Cats knocked off the Power.

If this refers to Hackham Hawks, possibly.

If its Hawthorn Hawks, then doubtful, unless there are a series of interchange breaches.

As an Adelaide living Hawks tragic, REB is onto something here and I'll outline why:

1) Footy Park. We have played like dirt here since the 1994 whipping of the crows. The few wins we have had here since were struggles at best. (The 01 final v Port about the only exception)

2) Port- backs to the wall after 2 insipid weeks. Just the way they like it.

3) Hawks are coming off the bye. Teams have generally struggled first week back.

4) See point 1

5) I am attending this game. Im currently 0 for 2 this year at Hawks games!

6) For the past 2 1/2 years the hawks have played to the level of the opposition, very rarely have we smashed a team who are vastly inferior in personnel, yet have matched it in most matches with the heavyweights. Compare our results in 09/10 v Geelong (no wins but great games), St K and Coll against games against Port, Roos, West Coast etc...

I'll be there Friday but not confident despite the reality that we should smack the Port. May even put some sportsbet comp units on the Powe as they will be paying some ridiculous quote :)

The Hawks should win but that doesnt mean they will. With the Hawks its always very hard to work out what they will actually do. I would ecpect even with there problems with there ruck division they should be on top in that area if there is no Brogan.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Franklin needs to kick 12.2, not 2.12 though.

Unlike when the Power play Adelaide again where it's already a forgone conclusion that the Power will win as usual. ;)
