FFS! It's still February... get a grip

you were saying?????

So far, we have played 2 matches of a 24 round season. Wasn't it the great Malcolm the "messiah" who famously referred to the footy season as a marathon not a sprint? Don't throw away your knitting needles just yet...

its a marathon indeed, it is however handy to start the race at the same time as your competitors

None the less, a ShowDown is always a big chance to create some momentum and kick start our year. Would love a classic old school Port Adelaide underdog type win over the Tingles :D

Geez, at the moment, I can't see us getting within a bull's roar.

Glad the Suns were admitted this year.

If we can't beat them in a couple of weeks...

No chance of the spoon.

GC might not win one at all, Brisbane will go downhill ( yep, even further ) and Richmond will be 4 wins tops.

I can see us winning 6 or 7 to finish a solid 14th.

I cant see where they will come from. I see us beating CG twice, brisbane, and melbourne at aami....other than that i see us struggling.

Good to see Ben Jacobs play his first game of the year, in the Magpies Reserves against South last night. He was named in the best, which is a good effort after his interrupted season where he was diagnosed with Glandular Fever.

Hopefully another of our draftees Ben Newton will play a game in the SANFL soon, too.

I would say Ebert should be kept, but he should be pushed through the middle. Pettigrew should be gone. He really has lost the plot and judging from his form with West I would not have given him a game.
We need to look at our foward line. Westhoff is good at CHF but I still hate having Motlop in the side. Start to get some games into Butcher, get Banner back in the team and start looking at getting a second ruckman working.
