Yeah, tough love to start with mate...

Problem is noone wants a bye in Round 2,ours in 8 and 16 seems pretty good as far as a rest goes and with 3/3 at home to start with you know you must have a tougher run at the end.

Anyway, you bloke traditionally start the season really, really well..... ;)

Yeah, R2 is not ideal but our second bye is 16 which is a good one.

Games limited to Adelaide & Melbourne until round 20 (a trip to Geelong included in that).

Run home not too bad either: - Brisbane (A), Geelong (H), GC (A), Richmond (H) & finish with WC (A).

Like it. Like it a lot. :D

Teams we play twice: Bulldogs, St Kilda, Brisbane, Freo, Port, Richmond, Melbourne . I'll take that!

We travel to Subi twice.

The toughest run seems rounds 19-22 where we play Bulldogs (home), Lions (Gabba), Collingwood (MCG), St Kilda (home)

Yep, I reckon Crows offices would be very chirpy this morning. Apart from the last month, the rest of the draw is very favourable.

 Just rounds 1-6..

Dutchy, it doesn't matter how you spin it that's not a great run for Port and the AFL set the draw, not them. Asking to go to Darwin doesn't mean they asked for Sydney, Brisbane and Perth trips close to two Darwin trips.

As Triggy said tonight, the clubs get 2 drafts for comment but simply can't win every battle.

Take Darwin out and the draw is fine, if they hadnt requested those games in Darwin those games would be in Melbourne and no one would be complaining.

They cant play in Darwin until June becuase of the wet season, make your bed and have to be prepared to lie in it

Couldnt the same be said about North Melbourne, if there willing to play homes games interstate and show little respect for there home grown supporter base then why should they get games in the premier time slight Friday Night.

No, NM are different

When it's NM everything is the AFL's fault

When it's Port everything is the club's fault

As as the inventers of Friday Night Football Id like to publicly thank the AFL for giving us another slice of the action this season. Dickheads...

Exhibit A

I say if don't get the crowds to your games then you have made your own bed and you need to lie in it.

Blame your club not the AFL

Dutchy I was a bit harsh here. I think you are too quick with the "it's your club's fault" to Port fans. You tell Booney to stop complaining just a day or so after you complain about NM's draw where you blamed the AFL.

In all seriousness, I see NM's and PP's challenges as being very similar and I think both get short changed to some extent by the AFL in the draw. The lower drawing teams seem to be the last ones added in to the draw wherever they can fit. The only way for NM and Port to redress this is to somehow get more bums on seats to their games and then use this in future draw negotiations.
