Bomber has indicated to club he may have lost the urge to coach
Bomber says he may not be fully committed to coaching Geelong
Club has told him to take some time to think about his future
Bomber has told Geelong he is not going to Essendon.

No wonder Bomber needs a break after eleven seasons. If his heart is no longer in it then he should walk away. If he comes back from a break refreshed he should not be sacked. Either way a Bomber he aint.

funny bomber quits half hour after hirds appointmnet. we knew hird had the job last week.....and bomber was going to come back. as has been said before contracts mean nothing, he knows the reign at geelong is over and doesnt want to go thru that building stage again.i know essendon are in the re building stage atm but his job at essendon will not be of senoir coach. why last week was he a massive fav for the job even before the year was done. would he be burnt out if geeeelong had made the gf? my view is hird was app coach on the prov that thompson was with him.and bomber had agreed. good players dont ness make good coaches....but with a little help....you nevr know.... 2 essendon greats and captains are reunited....go the bombers.
