I chose the 2nd option.

Because:
1. The whole club from the president down to the last toothless supporter (I've seen one of those today!) carries on as if they're God's gift to the AFL.
2. Recent example - Whingeing about the draw (sorry but when you finish top 4, you have to play against other top 4 teams twice the next year) while the last 7 weeks of the minor round they were at the MCG.
3. Joffa. And his stupid gold jacket, which he hilariously put on too early a couple Anzac Days ago, just after my Collingwood supporter mate had just played me their theme song on his phone. Of course he could have put it on after 5 mins of this year's Anzac Day clash!
4. Their refusal to come up with an alternate strip.
5. The way the AFL panders to Eddie's every whim and desire. More reason to hate the AFL I guess, if you can get away with it, why not?

But basically all the above reasons, and many others, all boil down to one reason really. Unfounded arrogance. Why do they carry on like they do when they've only won 1 premiership in 52 years? Possibly the last chance I'll get to say that, but still! And it's almost like this year the AFL has decided that Collingwood have too many supporters for them not to win an occasional premiership, and this is their year. Every time I've watched Collingwood this year, they've had so much help from the umpires it's embarrassing! So for all of this GO SAINTS! End rant.

It was one of the highlights of my Essendon supporting life! Quite a few pints under we were by then too, so you can just imagine the crap that was flying! Of course you don't have to agree with my reasons, I was asked to give them. Naturally, you wouldn't agree with those reasons coz you're one of Them! I like my sport with villains, and in this case it's your club. For the same reason I'll be scowling every time Stuart Broad comes on to bowl this summer. No need to take it personally! As far as the God's gift thing, I meant in regards to their football club, not their personality. I do like the Blur reference though!
When it's all said and done, I enjoy hating Collingwood because it has given me much hilarity over the years with the to-ing and fro-ing between my Collingwood supporting mates and I. I like Collingwood, they where black and white. I don't like Eddie, not as much as I used though now that he's not in the Media spotlight as much.

The thing that I hate most is when people say they hate Collingwood and the only reason they can give is because they hate Eddie. They they're asked about the way Collingwood play the game and if they like there game style or any of the players in their side. To then they respond, Nah still hate Collingwood because of Eddie.
