Wouldn't matter if they watched it a thousand times, the muti million dollar coaching staff at the AFC cannot/will not/would not make a decision to save themselves.
Doughty & Walker continue to give token efforts but still get selected, play some new kids 'cause at least you'll get an effort from them and not look as though they couldn't give 2 hoots about the game.
Lots of pain still to come, not sure Craig will survive if this continues deep into the season.

Agree with Doughty, probably 3 of the worst games he's played in a long long time. Cant believe how much he's dropped off the pace in one summer.

Well he will definitely get another chance bcos we have no one else to come in

Also our decision making is incredibly slow, how many times we got the ball today and were just not aware of the traffic around us and get done holding the ball is shocking

Agree with both of those statements, would add that disposal today was terrible (melbourne weren't much better though) and we are only at round 3 and the players look stuffed!
Trust the process.

Mackay isn't even that quick, but he looks lightning in our side because he's just about the only guy who is willing to run, carry, bounce, and take them on. It's disgusting what's happened to this team. There's no spark, no excitement, no back-up plans, season over.

I didn't believe our lack of depth.

It seems in our past we have always had a player ready to come in and contribute, but the new kids are too raw.

And when Doughty and Walker serve up their efforts today, you have no where to turn.

They severely lack intensity for AFL footballers.

Edwards really worries me. He just doesn't look like he has the hunger for it anymore. The most ineffective I have seen him for a long time, if ever, in the last 3 weeks.

Slow, old and disinterested. Never thought I'd use those words to describe Edwards. :(

Tippett is a worry too, but key forwards always struggle when they don't have good supply from the midfield.

At least Vince got a bit of the footy today, hopefully he can build on that.

Really hope the Dangerfield injury in particular isn't too serious, he has been one of the few who has busted his chops so far this season. The type of player that makes me want to front up to the game next weekend despite the dismall work of the rest of the team.

Dangerfield has been our only posative this season. Agree Edwards is just takking the cash and looking forward to retirement now.

Walker is a waste of talent.

McKay sluts out on his own and has a few bounces down the wing and all of a sudden he is our brightest prospect. please

26 possessions, 90% efficicency, you've got no clue.

Not all players are inside mids. Mackay is a very damaging wingman.

Disagree on Mackay, he's the only bloke who's got the balls to actually tuck the ball under his wing and have a run. If a few more of his team mates would show the same guts results wouldn't be going the way they are at the moment.

Agree Walker is almost at the crossroads. I personally haven't see to many blokes at his age who can dominate a SANFL game like he has, he is a rare talent.
BUT
I don't know alot about him but im going to have a guess and say this bloke has always dominated no matter what level he has played at from juniors all the way through to the SANFL, now he has got to the AFL and things are tougher, i don't think he knows how to deal with it and has always being able to rely on his ability rather than work rate and effort

I reckon you're spot on the money there.

it just appears that he believes his raw talent will get him through.
He just lopes up to the contest with no intensity.
It drives me crazy.

McKay clearly been our best this year, think you'll find he plays on the wing so dont bash him for getting the ball fed to him and running down the WING. Always uses it well too...

Needs to be played deeper. He is not a half forward flanker. Out of the square, always one kick away from goals.
The way the Crows handled him last year has destroyed his game and his confidence

That is where he plays his best footy, but I don't think he's tall enough to be regularly successful in that role at AFL level ... Needs to find some intensity for when he doesn't have the ball.

I've been concerned about his place in the AFL system for a while now - Im not suggesting he won't be there in the next couple of years, but he needs to start stamping himself on some games because patience always inevitably runs thin when one isn't delivering.

Thought Maric played well today despite recent criticism

Maric took some good grabs in backline when game was still in balance.

I also don't believe Adelaide players attack and compete in the air well.
They focus on the player and the zone so much they seem to forget to just smash the pack and attack the ball in air!

Yes Walker is suited to goalsquare, but this is modern football, and the days of Dunstall, Lockett etc where you could play one spot are over.

He needs to adapt and learn to play across forward flank.
If he can't then he isn't good enough for AFL footy.
And Tippet is getting filthy delivery I wouldn't read into his poor form too much.
