He switched between Glenelg's under 18's and Reserves, kicked about 70/80 goals all up i think.

Hitchy played 7 U18 matches for 34 goals, plus 19 Reserves matches with 46 goals = 80 goals for the season.

Would he have been close to making his League debut for the Bays last season?

AdelaideNow wrote:SAINTS star Brendon Goddard is thankful the Etihad Stadium turf will be replaced tomorrow, saying the patchy playing surface on Friday night was more suited to cricket than football.
"I'll be spending extra time in the ice bath tonight after playing on that ground," Goddard said.
"It's pretty good if you want to play cricket. I was looking forward to batting first but unfortunately I had to get the oval shaped footy out.
"I think seeing a ground like that, it makes players more susceptible to injury. At the end of the day, as a footy club, we're willing to play anywhere and the AFL deemed it fit to play on. It was a lot softer than it actually looked."
But new Cats skipper Cameron Ling is unfazed by the surface.
The Cats have backed the decision to stage its clash against North Melbourne there today despite the visible scars left from last week's AC/DC concerts.
"If they've ticked it off then it's OK," Ling said.
"They (AFL) wouldn't let us play on anything unsafe. Hopefully it's all good and we have a good game."
