Travis Varcoe IMO
Wocijincki possibly.
Enright or Kelly? Hardly, just because they are unobtrusive, less fanfare types of players.
Blake and Byrnes perhaps? Pretty stiff on those blokes I would have thought.
Hawkins? But is now developing. Similarly, wasn't a huge wrap for Taylor at first, but has developed well, culminating in a great effort on the weekend.

Geelong don't have a bottom 5. That is why they have been so good over the last three years.
So you've seen everything have you?

One reason the cats won is beause you didnt put Stokes in.

Defo in your 'least 5' or however you want to put it.

Agree, that's what I meant when people were trying to compare St Kilda's bottom 5.

Yeah, he was one I forgot in the original post. Being an Eagles supporter, it's good to see him doing okay at Geelong, but agree it was the right move not to play him. FWIW, I'm not a Cat, just asking the question based on the above discussion.

LOL even mentioning Kelly and Enright when talking about ther least five players is stupid.
Enright an All Australian this year.
Kelly well he his an absolute Gun. No coincidence that when he and Ottens came back, Geelong started to hit there straps.

Pointing the finger at any one player for such a loss is way off the mark. The Saints missed thier opportunities just as Geelong did a year earlier.

Geelong's worst five?

Blake, Wojinski, Varcoe, Byrnes and Harley. Not too sure how Enright and Kelly's names got mentioned.

Why is Harley captain? Must be inspirational behind closed doors coz I don't think he does much on-field that a Bartel or Joel Corey doesn't do..

Just going on what's been said in media he is apparently quite inspirational off field and was heavily involved in suspending Steve Johnson a couple of years ago when he went off the rails a bit.
Must be rated extremely highly for Thompson to put to him that he'll allow him to come back next year and let him play at least the 2 games to bring up his 200 although it would end up being 3 because he did play the one game for Port Power

Harley's best football may be behind him but what short memories some people have. When Geelong were a struggling outfit attempting to climb up the ladder it was the Harley/Scarlo combination down back that were the pillars of our side.

I mentioned Enright in my original post, mainly to argue against that he was in Geelong's "lower" five, but was not as big a name as others in their team. Believe it or not, but I have had conversations with people who believe he only appears to be as good as he is because he is in a side like Geelong's.
And why I didn't mention Harley was for the reasons you have referred to REB - more team oriented than simply ability oriented.
I agree with your five there REB, althought they are far better than all the others teams "lower" five, and my original post was to argue that Geelong hardly have a "lower" five compared to other teams, which is why some have argued this was Geelong's advantage v St Kilda.
And just because you're an All Australian doesn't mean you're in Geelong's best dozen ;)

Enright's a terrible player. Hence the reason he won the Best and fairest this year in the premiership year   . The bloke is a fantastic footballer. End of story.
