Yep, Campbell Brown would wonder what's going on wouldn't he? Look at the trouble he got into telling a lie to protect Chris Judd. Judd got off, and Brown got suspended for not telling the truth :) Just another example of how inconsistent the AFL judiciary operates.

Having said that, I cannot condone a player making public statements that imply retribution. It's just not on.

The one thing people really can't deal with in this word is honesty. You need look no further than this forum for evidence of that. Speak your mind and see how many of the politically correct lapdogs in here get upset :)

Campbell Brown would wonder about a lot of things...like which boot goes on which foot. If you are going out for retribution then just STFU and get on with it then. It's like a bloke in a bar saying he was going to kick that Biker's arse after the boys have saddled up and moved on.

Josh who? Oh thats right, 10 years ago he played a few games.

Mate you go and buy the seat I couldnt care less, I hope you have a fantastic day. Maybe you can sit next to Browney because hes probably likely to washed up next year.

Why does it matter how many games and when Thurgood played?

I just watched it again

Amazing how Lloyd can look so unco-ordinated for such a good player

Maybe it's because the only AFL football I've watched in the last 3 years has been at a pub in London that replays Biffs, Bumps and Brawls on a continuous loop, but I don't think the bump had any intent or was in anyway malicious.

I agree that Lloyd is protected by the umpires and has made diving an art though.

I don't think the bombers will play anymore games for the year after this coming weekend.

i agree, but it's just the prinipal to guess how many weeks he's guna be out for next year when we dont know how many weeks he's guna be out for this year!

unless of course, our friend CF was aluding that he/she thinks he will get 4 weeks for it, one to be served this week, and the last 3 next year.

And what is Campbell Brown going to do that he couldn't do yesterday? Tryhard toughguy. He had his chance yesterday and all he did was point the finger at the Bomber bench. Apparently he was having a whine on radio last night as well. Suck it up Princess. Lloydy will go and Brown will do bugger all when Hawthorn play Essendon next year or he'll go......that's if Brown survives Thanksgiving......

I reckon it was a case of a bloke nearing the end of his career initially thinking he could get to the ball first, like he may have done 10 years ago, but on finding Sewell got there first, had no other option with the momentum he'd built up but to bump, protecting himself in the process. If he had tried to tackle Sewell with a head of steam like he had, he probably would have broken some of his own ribs. An error of judgement, that unfortunately ended badly for Sewell. And therein lies the problem with the rule that applies at the moment. The rule is not going to protect players from getting head injuries, it's just going to see more players suspended. Which is no good for anyone.

Meanwhile, intelligence was never a strong suit of Mal Brown's and every indication (not just comments re Lloyd) is like father, like son. A bit rich coming from one of the 2 dirtiest players in the $hit and pi$$ jumper (Jordan Lewis the other, king of the cheap shot).

Nice comeback Stan- I noticed Tom Green in your avatar- even he would get more laughs...

Ever thought that cheap hits actually can ruin careers? Josh Thurgood may not have ever been a world beater, but he definitely wasnt the same after the Lloyd 'hit'.

and I will have a fantastic day no doubt. Cheers.
