i think the crows Forward line will run Riot this week, Chris Johnson named at CHB for Carlton thats Staggering, he will have to play on Burton or Knights,
i would not like these match ups if i was a Blues Supporter

Edwards v Joseph Hentschel v Bower Porplyzia v Russell
Knights vs Johnson Tippett v Thornton Burton v Wiggins

and on the other hand you love Rutten v Fevola.

a Good Omen for the Blues is, Three of the 4 last seasons the team the Crows have beat in Round 22 all made Preliminary Finals West Coast in 2005 , Collingwood in 2007 and Western Bulldogs in 2008

I too was miffed about the selection of Chris Johnson as I stated in an earlier post. From what my mates in Vic have said, he hasn't done a hell of a lot at the Ants.
You might find that Wiggins and Carrazzo swap but you are in fact right, the firepower up forward will be a handfull for the Carlton backs.
Should be an interesting game as Etihad holds no fears for the Crows either and the only times I remember them losing there has been by small margins, except maybe the Saints this year.

an easier way to look at is the combined winning margin for collingwood and crows needs to around the 130 points mark.

if it's collingwood by 1 point (again!), then crows can still make the 4 if they smash the blueboys by 129 points!

At the end of the day the result won't mater much as I can't see Sydney losing to Brisbane.

Adelaide will finish 5th, Carlton 6th. Adelaide will play Hawthorn / Essendon and leave the Lions for Carlton.

There maybe up to three changes to Carlton tomorrow. Jordan Russell and Andrew Walker both left the track early on friday with Walker looking like he'll be very likely to miss. Russell 50/50. Hampson is now looking like a 70/30 chance of playing. Got through training ok but not brilliant.
Apparently Bentick looks like the most likely to come in for Russell. Fisher in for Walker IMO and of course Jacobs if Hammer doesn't come up.
Also expect Chris Johnson to play up forward. I think we have given up on him playing out of the backline and he kicked 3 goals for the Ants last week playing on a wing and Hff.

Doubt we'll win anyway. The Tingles have our measure, not that I think the result will matter too much in the end, and both sides should get home finals, pending Sydney's win over Brisbane.

yeah i was thinking that to, but both Carlton and Crows would rather play Essendon or Buddy Less Hawks then Brisbane, especially Carlton because doesent Jono Brown always smash Carlton

The Blues have beaten Brisbane both times we've played them this year (home & away), T-Bird or Bower has done pretty good on him. Rather play Brisbane.

Actually if we lose and Brisbane win, I'll be on the Gold Coast from Sunday, and will still be there IF Brisbane get a home final.

mmmm I may get to see Carlton at the Gabba :D

Not sure about that SJABC Brisbanes record in Sydney aint flash.
I'd prefer to see Adelaide play Brisbane next week at the GABBA, so i'm hoping Caaaarlton win today.
C'mon you handbags!

Sounds like a few more out for Carlton and they will have 7 different players to last week.

Crows by 8 goals.

Crows need to pull the finger out as usual in the first quarter.

Pitifully pathetic.
