Some of the players that Freo have lost or let go:

Jeff White
Andrew Mcleod
Peter Bell
Winston Abraham
Adam Mcphee
Jimmy Clement

I can't think of the rest but at one stage I read an article 'leave Freo and become a star'

i was talkin to a mate of mine the other day and we brought up Richmond and the amount of recycled players they have... Brown, Johnson, Polak, now Mcmahon who struggled to make the best 22 at the dogs and Cousins

so Freo have Tarrant and Solomon, as current players, obviously there would be more in previous years and pos some i missed. but my point is the recycled players aren't that important. they don't have the cattle. A part from Pav, who else would be given 'elite' status??? Palmer's prob there best midfielder and he's played less than 30 games... how many of their best 22 would get a game with a Geelong or W. Bulldogs or even Carlton atm?!?

IMO Freo just don't know how to win and they need a couple of great players, not just good players.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Culture is probably an overused and under understood term when it comes to AFL Clubs. I think history is a major part of a clubs "culture" but certainly not the whole story. St. Kilda's "culture" IMO is that of highly skilled yet under achieving teams who always seam to boast a few superstars but can't win a flag. They also replace coaches at the drop of a hat and make poor off decisions regularly. To me That's their "culture". It's a generalisation that isn't always true and maybe a little harsh. Collingwood's "culture" is one of us against them. You either love em or hate em so to speak. So I challenge anyone to tell me what the players of the Fremantle Footy club think of their "culture". Fremantle has a rich football heritage that unfortunatly has not been strongly reflected in the AFL club that now represents them. I think that is sad.
Someone made the comment about them becoming to "Victorianised"..........exelent call. It's hard to build any sort of culture or heritage around any young club when people keep comming into it who have very little affinity for what they are supposed to represent. Like I said before..............Medhurst and Tarrant are perfect examples. Who won that deal when it was it first announced.......everyone said Fremantle. Since the trade was done who has been the better player for their new club??? Medhurst hands down. I believe IF the Femantle football Club has a heritage it is exactly that.......Players who leave the club play better elsewhere and recruits flop when playing for Freo. Freo need to forget about trade week..........unless they are trading for draft picks.........1st or 2nd round draft picks. Get the most talented youngsters from the Fremantle area and pick them up young. Atleast then the players on the list will understand what the Fremantle Fooball Club SHOULD be all about. Maybe then in 20 years time when they do recruit players from other clubs to come and play at Freo those guys might just have a higher regard, and a greater sence of purpose, for the new club they now represent.
For what it's worth I think there maybe some push at Fremantle to head in that direction and they have definatley cleared out heaps of dead wood from last seasons squad. We will see in two years time weather they have finally got it right.

I would have thought most clubs would be happy with Luke McPharlin's output, as a player from another club..
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Just looking at some stats and Freo have actually won the Inside 50's in both of their matches to date, yet managed to get smashed in both, seems to indicate to me their delivery going forward is terrible, as they are getting it in there, just not getting the score on the board

Every other team that has won the inside 50's has won their game, except for Freo and Hawks over Sydney last week
