You're onto something their AH, talking to an ex-Richmond player he said the biggest problem with Richmond (Wallace's coaching) is they just lack structure. No real system to their play.

Had to laugh today when the camera was a kid in the crowd with a Richmond top on and Tim Lane said:

"You've got an unfortunate life ahead of you young fella" :)

At the end of the game I thinking what would be worse -supporting Freo or Richmond?
Both would drive you to the edge of sanity.

you would have to stick with fremantle at least they can hit a target 20 metres away with no pressure on either end. how many turnovers were there on the tigers half back line. easy pickings for the dogs.

I'll preempt this by saying I'm a Carlton fan, but Richmond really don't look like they have any idea. I remember the media pretty much lynching Danny Frawley when Gaspar did a 360 in the middle of the ground, got tackled and was caught holding the ball.

They seem to be handballing for the sake of handballing. They handball to stationary targets, or targets that are running into trouble. It's almost a case of them trying too hard. There doesn't seem to be a lot of gut runners, maybe besides Foley, and nor do they have the guys that tend to straighten them up through the middle.

I think Brown is overrated and Richo is busting his arse. Their backline is young and will be ok, but their movement through the middle and their forward line structure seems to be lacking "something".

He was playing with his Pokemon at the time, so I think he might be trying other avenues of entertainment that will keep him happy and sane.

Terry Wallace - the master drafter. Five Top 20 picks in 2004 - Deledio, Tambling, Meyer, Pattison, Polo. And traded Brad Ottens.

Thought Plough's defence of Tambling's performance last night, whilst admirable, perhaps wasn't the brightest idea ... He virtually excused him on the basis of just having their 2nd child and completely missing a night of sleep in the last 48 hours - Umm Terry, you were aware of this, yet you still selected him.

I reckon he'd be a good bloke Wallace, but I think even he knows he's on his way out and the sad part for Tigers fans, is that he won't be leaving the place in any better shape than it was in 5 years ago when his tenure first commenced.

That's been the common thought for a while I reckon, and it's an appointment that would certainly appease the long suffering Tigers fans - That said, it's appointments like that to the coaching box that haven't enabled them to change their culture for 29 years, tough decision.

I've heard Coughlan's form has been superb in the VFL. How can he only be an emergency on the weekend? His class and work ethic is one surely missed and would free up Brett Deledio no end.

Nathan Buckley was on Sunrise this morning and stated that he thought it was likely that if Richmond lose this week against Melbourne that Terry Wallace will most likely be given the sack..... :?

I can't believe Terry Wallace is dumb enough to keep playing him, he is just sad to watch.

Wallace also needs to take responsibility, if he's selected him when there's reasons not to, he's actually not doing the kid any favours.

Otten's walked from the club at the end of 2004 (don't blame him!) Tambling will always have the honour of being picked before Franklin and Roughead, look he might come good and at times has showed signs but development is very slow.

Meyer at 7 now gone was a waste, Polo can't get a regular game and Pattison is a honest battler but not good enough for key position and not big enough at times for the ruck, they did get Delidio right at 1 but the rest have been poor.
