Freo = crap, WCE = crap, Adelaide = average, Port = frontrunners.

Will be a bit of a better test this week against the Dogs. See how they go then before I
make my decision, but yes they are looking pretty good.

Well apart from the obvious (Geelong) and possibly Hawthorn and the Bulldogs on their day who would you consider to be the better than average sides? :?

I'm not getting ahead of myself at all, but 5 dominant wins, two being interstate-can't do more than that.

As I said, they're playing the Dogs this week. Will watch and see and see how they go.

Port are not frontrunners. They will be lucky to make the 8.

Sydney = Scored 2 points against in 2 quarters and we only lost by 15 points. We will make the finals.

:?

Port are the biggest mob of frontrunners in the comp. When they're leading they're good, but as soon as the shit hits the
fan they disappear.

You've probably answered your own question. There are four good sides, one improving side and up to 11 average to poor sides. There will be three sides that make the eight this year that are absolute crap. St Kilda will cream the Dogs who are missing Cooney and Akker at the moment. Cooney is a massive out for them because he was not only racking up possessions but kicking sausage rolls as well.

Aker only had a one game ban, so he'll be back, and IIRC Eade said Cooney will be back this week too.....

What they need is Cooney fit and firing, not just 'back'.

Wasn't convinced about the Saints a couple of weeks ago, but have proved me wrong, and are a contender, but like REB said, there ain't that many really good sides this year.

3rd to 13th is a raffle IMO. Injuries or good luck could see a Port,Collingwood,Brisbane,Sydney,Adelaide,Hawthorn finish anywhere from 4th to 13th.

St's the real deal IMO, until September.....right mal? ;)

You can only beat who you play.... and they way they have beaten the teams they have played has been impressive and i spose its what they have promised to do for years but never delivered!!! real deal for sure but depends on how long they can keep the pressure on the other teams before they fatigue as the season progresses.

St Kilda. What a pack of mongrels. Win the flag AFTER Banger leaves. Poor form really.

They look strong and fast this year. Ross Lyon has definitly had them working hard over the summer. Gardiner has stepped up, Schnider is starting to find his place, and with Kosi fit and strong they do look good. Still the big test is can they maintain that pressure that they apply to sides through out the year.

When will we see the return of Matty Maguire?! Carving it up for Sandringham at the moment, booted a lazy five goals on the weekend. C'mon Ross Lyon, pick the gun - he's in my SC team!!!

There was a song in the 60s
Went something like
" Might as well REIGN until September."
Maybe Mr66 remembers the song[who sang it ??????????????????????????????]

But until September the song is
O
OW
OWE
OWEN
OWEN THE SAINTS CUM MARCHIN' IN

...and then go stumbling out....

And don't remember the song either.
If it was about STK winning a flag, the I don't think it would have been played all that often.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
