How, why, when?

Far too good with your use of the ball today - which was a telling difference.

We struggle with you guys each time. People at work in my footy tipping comp picked Carlton, but not me. I'm too used to your big guys flogging us up forward, and then Harvey, Jones, Grant, et al having a field day.

I didn't see 50pts as a margin, more 30, but still, that's about where we are at at the moment.

BTW - I reckon you guys will need to play one decent final before people give you respect. I certainly hope you do play well cos I've always liked the way North have gone about it, and am a big fan of Laidley's!

Not being critical, just saying how i see it.

I reckon the Kanga's could surprise a few in the finals ... They will have the spur of two heavy finals losses in their minds, are are unlikely to head interstate and match up well against most of the teams up there - What happened to them against the Cats last September could (and likely would) have happened to anyone.

2nd best team in the comp at the minute, we may have peaked a bit early though, cant see us playing much better, the dropping of Thompson, Sinclair and Jones earlier in the year certainly has the team on its toes, the other good thing was Campbell and Thomas had little effect yesterday.....next week will be interesting but coming off 2 straight games at the DOOM I dont have any high hopes....

Carlton have issues, Fev cried all day to the umpires, wasnt happy even when his team kicked a goal, more worried about giving the umpire a mouthful, they will never win a flag with him in the team, within 2 minutes of him giving up a 100m penalty Wiggins recklessly charges Harding in a gutless act....no doubt a case of "if Fev aint going to show discipline why should I"? It was set up for him to kick 10 yesterday and win the game for his team

Rattens game plan is simple, get the ball and kick it to Fev...not real hard to defend....their backline still doesnt cut it and got about 5-6 players who arent up to the standard of AFL....look at the midfield of Scotland, Stevens, Cloke and Judd....all come from other clubs....

You can handle a developing team but when the basics are being done incorrectly Id certainly be worried if I was a carlton fan,....
