I think most of us feel that way, but not most AFL (and to a lesser extent SANFL) clubs who are always on the lookout for that "Diamond in the rough".

Yes the policy is more towards selecting them as athletes rather than footballers.

Nothing you quoted, Boon.

But a reference to the 80s anti-drug campaign.

I hope Krak doesnt leave he gonna be a ripper if he gets his body right. I would want more than Josh Carr for Krak, maybe a draft pick or a player. Not sure how many South Aussie Freo have, Schammer i guess.
I guess Port will have to deal with Freo.

I reckon you would probably only get J.Carr. Freo talk up Carr but hes not what he was, not worth much and I dont thin Port would get Schammer.

Judging from the reports of departures from Port, and the fact that the Dockers are planning to review their outfit, song, and colours, could there be a merger?
The Port Dockers playing out of Subi!

I hear Peter Burgoyne wants more than the 1 year deal offerred to him and the club has said take it or leave it.

Would any other club want him at his age in a trade if he decides he wants out? I doubt it, he would have to take his chance in the pre-season draft assuming his is out of contract at the moment.

freo would take him!! they take anyone over 30!
I think there would be some interest, i would offer him 2 years if i was Port. Ended the year very well. Wouldnt want to see him go.

2 years would need to be very much performance [and training] loaded with a minimal base salary - to keep him motivated like he was late last year. He can do it, but will he!?

He's still by far the leading key forward at the club, and his form last year wasn't actually bad at all. Its absolutely the right decision for him to continue for next year, and probably another year after that aswell.

Agreed GWW, he is still a very valuable member of the team. Had a very good year.

Tredrea is the whipping boy more than anything, everyone likes to bag him and pick up on any little mistake he makes.

Wouldn't get a game for any other side in the comp - which means... Port keeping him for wrong reasons

Nah they're keeping him because he's by far the best forward option in the squad.

Pavlich is the other SA Fremantle player. Not that helps in any way.
