Say he did get given the kick...wonder who would have taken it as Dawson would have to have gone off on the blood rule.

Would he have to go off given the siren would have gone?
He can’t transmit blood to anyone

Good question! Dunno.

8 games to go.

I have us winning: Giants (AO), Suns (AO), Sydney (AO), WC (OS)
I have us losing: Melbourne (MCG), Brisbane (G)

That leaves us 12-9 with

50/50: Essendon (MS), Port Adelaide (AO).

Lose both of those and should still make finals with percentage. Snag one and will definitely make finals, maybe even a home final which will be huge.

Adelaide defender Nick Murray will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee during Sunday’s loss to Melbourne at the MCG.

“While it’s disappointing to lose Izak, fortunately there was little to no tendon involvement, so he will begin his rehab process and we anticipate that being 3-4 weeks before he returns to play,” Burgess said.

Doedee and Murray gone for most of 2024, that's going to hurt.

Maybe we'll offer Jonas one year...
Seriously though that's f..ked us as we will need to concentrate on recruiting a key back(s) now especially if Doedee leaves as expected

How good have AC been in losing to CO + ML on the MCG this season
These 2 teams could be meeting in the 2023 Grand Final

RD 15
CO 2-4 7-5 7-8 12-10
AC 1-5 2-8 9-9 11-14

RD 19
ML 2-2 6-4 11-9 14-13
AC 1-4 3-9 6-13 13-15

Almost 5 goals down at various breaks in the 2 games and deserved to win at least one of those games
They are a brilliant team

Really disappointed that we're missing out on a bloke who can't get a gig as a tall in Adelaide's back line until there's an injury crisis.

I think he was thinking more cause of the Borlace name and in a showdown to debut, not that he will dominate Ports forward line.
