Absolutely he can, but Adelaide are about to clean out the old and in with the new, can Lyon develop young players and a game plan to get the best out of them or can he coach seasoned senior players to the next level?

What Adelaide needed 3-4 years ago and what they need now is two completely different things.

Agree Booney.

Time and place for Ross. And that is not at Adelaide in 2020.

(Going to be hard for many on here to take this seriously)

Hinkley arrived at Alberton when the club was fractured, the playing list at a low point, no confidence, no cohesion and old players clogging up the list. He's widely regarded at Geelong, Gold Coast and Port as someone who builds relationships quickly and brings people together, whilst I know he's not moving across Port Road there's many aspects of Hinkley that Adelaide could do with right now.

(Now, smash keyboards with derogatory responses)

You're just trying to move Kenny on - I saw what you did there.

Fascinating when coaches are discussed, everyone just assumes the next bloke is going to do a better job than the last.

And at the time probably was the right bloke for the Carlton job, if they'd not continued with him in 2019 and moved on someone else his reputation would be in better shape than it is now.

Greenwood asking for a four year deal at $700,00 $750,00 a season. If true although it shit me when he was constantly dropped this is well overs for him IMO.

Can't secure a spot in the Adelaide midfield, goes and asks for $700k per year.

Actually think the time and place aspect is the one that best aligns with him potentially coaching the Crows Strong media presence, and strong at building relationships with players apparently. Not saying the Crows should or will go down that path, but I reckon it’s an option worth exploring.

Bang average list with barely any A Grade star power and apparently players leaving the sinking ship left, right and centre.

I would love to see them to get a first year coach who will be on a hiding to nothing and get eaten alive by the Adelaide football public who have the most sheltered view of their club in the nation.

It's going to be fun.

I get out plenty. But I have to admit whilst sitting on the shitter reading all the Crows fans on social media is as entertaining as any stand up comedy show you will go watch at the fringe.

Most looking forward to the 'we never should have got rid of Pyke' posts.
