Jonathan o'rourke was the player with Michael Talia that was released without charge.

It's very clear the o'rourke was the bad influence in this situation. :)

Obviously Mates from back in the day, but an odd combo to be out and about.

It seems just about the only time I write on this thread, it's following a loss.

Saturday Vs the Dees was a huge disappointment. Very likely the only game I will get to all year in person (for a shyte load of reasons) and to get that result was a huge let down.

Gawn destroyed us in the ruck, gave their mids first look at the knacker..... all day. Smith kept us in it, in the first half. Cyril bobbed up now & then. Going by the stat Lewis had more of the ball than I thought he did.

The Hawks delivery into the forward line at times (most of the effin time) is like we still have Roughy down there.....

I don't buy the loss you have to have every now & then BS. Winning form is winning form. Dish that crap up against any top 4 team, Hawks loose by 8 goals plus.

Thought Heatherley was ok in his first game.... about the only positive I can find other than the very helpful MCG match day staff. Was on first name basis with the bloke on the "til", at one of the bars in the Great Southern stand by 3 qtr time.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

Ha ha I havent posted since the Sydney game because its the last meaningful thing we've done!

It was a carbon copy of half a dozen games this year, difference being we didnt kick straight and the opposition did.

To much left to too few. The defence looked thin on paper and when Stratts went down it went to paper thin. Heatherly and Brand tried hard but were overwhelmed. Midfield smashed again, except Smith.

I see Sicily has been given a week by the MRP too. The rest may do him good.

The roos arent travelling real well either at the moment, could be a real dire battle next week.

Good news is the dees played their game of the decade and did us in the last 10 mins, so we must be doing some things right. Just be nice to get even use of the footy.

The Dees made plenty of mistakes too. Agree our goal kicking accuracy was well down on normal. They had their outs, as did we. Even so, we had enough experienced troops on deck to snare the 4 pts. At the ground always had the feeling we would get over them in the end. It was just the other way around.... they kicked away. The last 5 minutes was viewed through the bottom of a plastic cup!

Fine totally appropriate. If you want to protect the privacy of players then by all means take the fine and accept the price. But these players are paid purely on the basis that they provide entertainment. I don't condone invading their personal lives but when it comes to game day, they belong to the public.

Roughy aiming for a full return to footy in May 2017, according to AA.

If true, absolutely outstanding news for the footy fraternity!
