its a tough year to get a real good gauge on some sides. I think those that were in the finals last year have slipped a little, some lower sides last year have improved and now they are all fairly even with eachother and then there are the bottom couple

Absolutely, there's a few teams riding some success from playing against some poo sides but wont have what it takes to front up against the big 3 when the seasons starts to narrow.

I assume you have my team in that list and you are correct. We were touched up by Freo earlier and really have a depleted backline.

But you can only play the teams in your fixture.

You guys have done exceptionally well for the players that you've lost, probably the best performing team in the 2nd tier.

as much as we all think minson is a wanker, the report, as luke beveredge stated, is laughable.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Elliot Yeo getting 1 week is the worst decision this year from the MRP.

Your right, but no one got knocked out here. A blood nose.
Yeo incident would happen every match. Umpire is clearly heard saying " it was in the contest"

So Yeo only gets 1 for knocking the guy out yet Lewis gets 2 cause he might have knocked Goldstein out but didnt. Where's the consistency in that?
Its a fricking joke both of them, they should both just be free kicks and 50m penalties and thats the end of it.

Saints coach said Yeo incident was not the cause of the concussion, He said he had a collision with his own player later in the game.
Yeo's arm is straight and at its highest point at impact and missed the ball by 2 inches.
Lewis was a round arm swing, missed the ball by over a foot and was a minute late.

Caro's arrow was spot on tonight...

Exactly the field umpire called it straight away as it was "In the contest". Him getting 2 weeks for that is an absolute joke, its a contact sport and sometimes accidents happen, they dont warrant suspensions everytime there is a bit of blood.

McVeigh got off his hit but I wonder if he had drawn blood would he of got suspended too?

Agree with all, ridiculous penalty for Yeo .. To get around the Saints players body from that angle was always going to require some level of swinging motion. Accidental footy collision.

Enjoying watching Joe Daniher play at the moment, but he'll need to be careful with his spoiling action.

Correct, very lucky on his hit on Christensen, which resulted in a 50m penalty.
So will every player trying to spoil. Guarantee I see 10+ spoils this weekend, that take the head that won't be noticed by the MRP.

Yeah Hawthorn get such a tough run from Brad Sewell *cough* the MRP. My heart goes out to them. A free kick and a fifty for Lewis' swipe? Nice one Cyclops.
