By the sounds of it, it is only a small matter that won't keep him from running for long and will see him pretty much fit and ready to go for round 1. That's when the important stuff kicks off and I'd expect him right to go by then.

Might be a blessing missing a couple of weeks of punishment at this time of year!

You would rather your recruits stay and make a mark in your club but I don't think he'll be that big a loss considering he hadn't played an AFL game.

He was homesick and has a family member who is not very well, good luck to the lad and no harm in either he or the club taking a shot at an international rookie.Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

He had a couple of interesting highlights in 2014. A couple of running, bouncing efforts to bring a smile to the dial.

Yeah don't think you can ever knock a bloke who comes halfway round the world to play a foreign sport and decides it isn't for him.

People moving an hours flight away, from a place they travel to every second week, and then them saying they are homesick on the other hand...

I'm sad to see him go. Was planning to get #45 on my maggies guernsey this year. While he had some big brain fades at times, as you'd expect for someone learning the game for the first time, some of the things he did was brilliant, so fast, loved to run and take them on and played aggressively.

Considering at the time the article was written, at least 7 clubs were doing it- we are no orphan.

If its being demanded of the club by its members, explain how we are "praying on the stupid"?

Stupid people have enough problems without football clubs pushing religion on them
