WTF is seriously going on with the game?

Does McKernan have a record like johnson's?

Worse looking at what he did, Stevie J's only bumped and tackled blokes where McKernan has assaulted one!

McGinnity 3 weeks  should of got reprimand.
McKernan 2 weeks  should of got 4-5
S.Johnson 2 weeks  should of got off.
Westhoff 1 week  another that should of got off.

The panel have NFI, talk about consistent.

still can't work out how mckernan only got two...absolute disgrace!!! It was a dirty old elbow. I've heard commentators say it's out of his character, couldn't give a rats... it was on purpose, dog act imo. the only positive was he hit a west coast player ;)

NM agree with all of above but I cant see how people think Westoff should have gotten off? He clearly made intentional contact with the jaw of a essendon player with his elbow after the siren

Im an Essendon member and I think Westhoff should of got off.
Hooker made of meal of it and went fown like he was shot. He suffered no injury whatsoever.
Was only a glancing blow and no worse than the jumper punch he gave back to Westhoff.

Geez wouldnt mind giving you one of them glancing blows Jimbo

I hadnt seen it until last night. Watched it a few times, and the contact wasnt that glancing at all and only by pure luck didnt it break his jaw, seen less cause more damage thats for sure.

Did the Mckernan which was higher impact that westoff's i agree and other mentioned incidents cause injury?

Hooker has said he didnt feel anything and it was by instinct he went to ground.
Was dumb by Westhoff but due to his good record I felt a reprimand would of been sufficient.

Every players says there was nothing in it

on another note, on 360 last night Gerard came up with a good example of how the MRP and Tribunal system should be set up and if only the AFL would listen to it. Did anyone else see it? he gave good examples i thought as well. It would mean th Zeibel, Brown, Westoff pentalies are consistant for what they are not what it is interpreted to be.

Makes you wonder if the powers that be think they've done enough to stamp out elbows and behind the play incidents in the last 20 years, and have moved onto new "pet" indiscretions??

Like most people I really can't work out how McKernan got off as lightly as he did, and I don't agree with McGinnity suspension.

Yep saw this, best solution to the MRP I've heard. Really like Gerard's views on most things, talks a lot of sense.
