First threaten rucci
Get him demoted
Now tell him not to attend a press conference

Not even a club just a corporation, no wonder everyone wants to leave. Long live rucciotos reign may it never end

I applaud the AFC if they did ban Rucci.

What a trainwreck of an interview.

I hope collective minds doesn’t have a confidentiality clause otherwise crows in trouble.

Only the Adelaide Football Corporation could make the situation worse with an arrogant half arsed press conference.

Going to be embarrassing for them when the media apply the pressure for a second press conference done properly.

Lynch signing, does that mean the crows offer was upped a little on the back of a certain player telling them he will be moving on at the end of the year?
Reckon the same thing happened at the mid year break in Dangerfields last year, Jenkins maybe?
Pretty fair conclusion to draw IMO

Bloke rang AA yesterday morning questioning if Rucci was attending, he replied that this was his day off & wasn't going. The bloke kept on at him that it was his responsability to attend being the chief footy reporter in the state & he would be the only one to ask the hard questions. Rucci stood his ground that he should'nt have to attend & got pretty arky that the guy kept insisting that he had to.
So whether the Addy told him not to attend or he genuinely wanted the day off may be a bit of a mystery.

Id say it was a directive not to attend.
With a presser that they had you would expect the Chief Football Writer to be there.

Think Rucci is contemplating his future at News Ltd at the minute and doing the bare minimum. Plenty of voluntary redundancies for news room staff on offer.

Totally agree Booney re Nick Ryan, his articles are a must read every week and are hilarious.

His article couple of weeks ago when he wrote how much he swears was a classic.

Quoted his four year old son when in the car - "where is the f...ing idiot daddy". Pi55ed my self.

This whole training camp was blown so far out of proportion by the media it’s not funny. The AFLPA had no issues with the camp, some players liked it some didn’t, thats life. Don’t say anything you get slammed, defend yourselves for media beat up you get slammed.

Did you ever think if might have been collective minds that wanted to part ways due to bad publicity? Wonder if they will ask for damages from a few media outlets?

Also Tom Lynch was house shopping in Melbourne last week according to Mclure and co....obviously didn’t find anything he liked. Was also reported yesterday that we still were low balling him..obviously happy with his 200k a year deal.
