Smith to Geelong is almost a certainty

Dangerfield, Smith and Henderson put Geelong back in the mix IMO.

Agree. potentially Selwood too.

Their weaknesses were contested ball, ruck, and probably a key defensive post, and it looks like they will get all of them sorted

How will they get enough draft picks to fit them all in when the better players are already signed up?

They wont get them all without shipping out some decent players. Havnt got enough picks up their sleeve to satisfy all the deals.

Defensively they were ok, they need a foil for Hawkins ( Henderson ), they need a ruck ( Smith ) and they need contested ball winner(s) to help Selwood who gets ridden hard* ( Dangerfield ).

Very versatile. Henderson will probably be the floater, Clark forward and Stanley swapping with Smith in the ruck.

Henderson is insurance for Clark, IMO. Clark will be a bonus for them if he gets back to doing close to what he is capable of.

I reckon the Hawks will target Watts and play him at CHB/third tall.

Jetta will struggle to get a game. Wellingham,Schofield, MacKenzie, Hurn,Sheppard, Brown, Barrass, Ellis, Butler.
If we are going to give up a key position player, you don't do it for a flanker.
I think Freo suits better.

Yeah, not sure how Jetta fits in there but its probably time for Lycett to move on, just isnt going to get the opportunities at West Coast

Lycett was very close to coming back to Port a year ago, very close. He might now wish he took that offer up.

I reckon he will be straight back in next year for the Eagles if he has a decent pre season. Had a mixed pre season with injuries and then Sinclair was playing too well to displace.

God I hope not.

Will take Henderson, his flexibility fits in well with Clarko's Mantra.

You just had to read the table correctly mate, pretty sure that was their ages at the start of next season

Carlisle to nominate the Saints apparantly.
Carlton offered $500k x3
Saints $700k x5
Richmond are rumoured to have pick 12 on the table for Lobbe

Certainly not worth $700k a year

Richmond will need that pick for Yarran [emoji6]

On MMM last night Tredrea was saying he heard a strong rumour that an awesome deal has been reached with Geelong for Dangerfield. Their first round pick plus a decent player. Didn't mention a name though. Guess we'll see shortly
