They could see this coming 2 weeks ago but didn't act, they say moving all Melb clubs out of the state is too expensive but Im guessing it won't be as expensive as shutting down the whole comp.

Every other state has it under control, but lets leave the Victorian teams in Melbourne

Well they can leave. It will just need a 2 week recess to do it. A SA, WA and QLD hub is the only way to go.

It's either season over or the Vic teams will need to leave Melbourne.

That's not all bad, play in front of some crowds.

If the season does push on, you can almost guarantee the GF will need to be moved. Victoria are so far from getting this under control is not funny let alone having people besides Eddie at games

They should consider reducing finals from 4 weeks to 3, for this year only, if things need to be pushed back further.

I.e. top 8 play quarter finals, 1v8, 2v7 etc. No double chances. Then semi finals the second week and the GF in the third week.

Hasn't the WA government given the okay for Geel/Coll to play each other in WA whilst during their quarantine period? I'm sure they could do the same with other clubs going forward meaning we don't need a 2 week shut down?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Just have Brisbane play the Gold Coast in Queensland for the right to play Port in the Grand Final at Adelaide Oval.

Read the 3rd paragraph.
It says if a QLD teams plays a Interstate team in Melbourne in the preceding 14 days they would also be required to quarantine. Geelong played in Melbourne in the weekend so they are ruled out
