Is that the big news?

You’ll have to wait for the PAFC 2026 thread for that

I had the top 3 in order and Aliir and Bergman rounding out the top 5 so Richards surprises a little but given how the BnF is voted on and how the year played out little surprise a role player who played his role was so high and Drew had an ordinary year. If not for injury issues I think he would have missed selection a couple of times, not surprised he's not top 10.

They probably used Boon's Best as a voting guide.

Port Adelaide is set to land Will Brodie in a minor trade with Fremantle, and sign Jacob Wehr as an unrestricted free agent from GWS.

C'mon mate, be a bit more positive please.

From google: Will Brodie is a very good extractor but that's is basically all he can do. He's not versatile, can't defend and has no tank.

From GWS website: A late-blooming running defender/wingman, Wehr was selected by the GIANTS with pick 59 in the 2020 AFL Draft as a mature-aged recruit.

So, a plodder and a guy that was old 5 years ago. ;)

To be fair I had never heard of Cumming or Peatling before trade period last year and they have turned out ok, so if Port think these boys fill a gap in their profile, makes sense.
