When your a proven player in the agrade u kinda dont give a toss in the reserves. Is he expected to get best on ground in the sanfl before getting a spot with the power?

Im not saying this is the case, but if you dont give a toss in the reserves you dont deserve to be at the club as you are terrible for club culture

Put it a different way, when its known that your picked in the first 22 agrade, your rehabilitation is aimed towards regaining your place back in the 22. It is the conditioning journey of the player that is most important. He is not required to set the sanfl a light. They would hav requirements bobby would need to reach once done he is back in the side

U want bobbys head cut off, i believe he has plenty more to give in the agrade. Opinions opinions

i havent seen a single minute of carlisle in the sanfl. but i would have thought trying would be a pre-requisite to getting back in the afl team

Cloke is the dudd 'currently' but a rookie on him too might help cloke to find his form

Hinkley will want cloke annihilated they wont wanna be the team that help bring cloke back to form

I expect Trengove to take the centre hitouts then go back, Howard will then be the ruckman around the ground.

As noted in my preview Collingwood are 18th for hitouts ( and hitouts to advantage ) so Port can perhaps afford to give Trengove a "rest" ( as such ) behind the ball and he'll take which ever of Cloke / Cox is closest to goal.

Cox, igniting their forward line? I suppose comparing him to Cloke he is!

Cox has 9 goals in 6 games, hardly world beating stuff and IMHO the perfect match up for a first gamer, Austin has played a hell of a lot more footy than Cox in his life!

The form of cox has been inspirational to the pies he is no all australian but his endeavour is lifting the collingwood because if he can then we can too. Pies probably should hav beaten doggies but had no bench last quarter

Dont players deserve credit on this forum? Are we all pessimists who only find the energy to login when theres a chance to shit on someone?

I won't be blowing smoke up the arse of a full forward for 9 goals in 6 games, no.

Is he impressive? Yes, I think he has something to offer and his story might inspire some more 7ft tall talent to come and try the game out. Is he inspirational? If that's whats inspiring the Pies then so be it.

Is that career over for Carlile?
Apparantly out for season after doing a PCL for the Maggies on the weekend.

Probably, yes. On contract for next year though. Will be an interesting one played out.

Sad way to go out if so.
Hard for a 30yo to come back from a knee op

Yep, he has looked decidedly slow in his few games this year. The game passes people by very, very quickly nowadays. ( Hi Travis Cloke )

The one (minor) negative of Daisy's ban is the fact we no longer have our PAFC selection scoop!

LOL....I'm pretty confident of no changes this week mate. If there is one, Ah Chee might gain a call up at the expense of Polec but I think unchanged.

It was only Ah Chee who impressed in the SANFL last week, Amon was the traveling emergency and he went without a game.

The Dogs have Roughead, Redpath and Campbell who play forward or rotate on the ball so we still need the back line as is and I think the support for Trengove last week from Howard was helpful. With a slick Doggies unit on the way the ball will be up and down and no man could ruck it alone.

My thoughts too, mate.

I did enjoy finding out the selections on Thursday morning, it has to be said. Kind of impatient
