Interesting that Port let Willie travel to Perth on a recovery day, has he had his papers stamped maybe?

wouldn't be the first Willie to end up somewhere where he shouldn't be.

I would guess that Simpson was one of the people that helped him through his rough period. If so, then full credit to Port for allowing him to show his appreciation

I was hoping the guys on First Crack would talk about Port and they have, showed some footage of players walking/not chasing while the ball was in dispute and worse while the Suns had control of the ball meaning the Suns could transition the ball from defence inside 50 quite easily at times.

Some of Ports ball movement inside 50 (just bombing it in and putting on forwards head) was frustrating to watch and like AE said above they chipped the ball around the back half a fair bit as the Suns set up very well defensively.

Arms pinned fierce tackle can be argued both off balance and that momentum sent them both towards the ground however at no stage did he try to release the tackle but looks like he drove him into the ground and then head hit the turf and bounced, think he's lucky to get 3, can't use the good boy trait this time, may be a blessing in anycase he hasn't really set the world on fire in recent games

Im not sure what Bedford and Cameron are supposed to do?
If Bedford doesn't tackle he's off.
Cameron's is a little different, but is he supposed to roll him and put himself in danger?

I'd hate to play these days.

So much to think about in a split second with how you attack the ball and the player with it.

As an aside I watched the 85 sanfl gf on the weekend. Blokes from both teams flying in.
What I noticed was only one concussion ( Wildy square up).
Players had heads on a swivel and knew how to protect themselves.
Wow we've come a long way!

Social Media actually gives the answers here, he is best mates with Liam Ryan and it was his 100th. Willie also paid tribute to Simmo for his support of him and his family during his ban.
