Can you elaborate on this part?

Apparently some of the 'game scenes' are re-staged to fit in with certain story lines like every other reality show on tv.

Did you watch the show?

I dont watch reality TV, it shits me so, no. But me not watching the show is irrelevant because I'm not bagging the show (or the people who watch it), I'm just saying that if you expect reality, then reality TV isn't where you will find it, regardless of the subject matter. Love footy, don't love reality TV.

Not sure what descending down a dam has to do with football, but enjoyed the most of the show, right up to about the time Ben Dixon starting getting more air time.
Unlucky to get injured, but I think they will allow him to return some how.

Putting them in uncomfortable situations is reality tv 101. And is more interesting than an hour of them playing footy.

Was also pretty easy to see that they weren't going to delist anyone this week

The png lad is good I reckon.

Still waiting for them to properly introduce and focus on Eagles FFS. Just had the show on in the background last night while doing other things as I got annoyed they haven't focused on him yet. But I feel the longer they take to focus on him the more chance he has of winning it.

They definetly have filler players playing coz at when point when Dicko was talking to Mick on the sidenlines about there being no excuses there were 3 blokes on the pine who def aint part of the show.

That Jason bloke was very arrogant but he looked the best of them, now he got a busted finger and is goneski.

The story about his old man was pretty moving though

And yeah they obviously focus on the players that are more interesting. The quiet lads that are good at footy are not going to feature that highly but still might go deep

When they played their first game last week I thought how does it work when there's only 15 contestants do they only play a 15 a side game? But I'm sure there's a full side on their magnet board? It all made sense when they showed those unknown blokes on the bench.

Thought the same. And only footage either side of the incident. Not actually of it.

Have you seen "reality" tv before?

Those tow truck shows have people getting shot at with machine guns by Mexican gangs when they're trying to pick up a 96 Civic. A fake MRI is nothing.

I don't see their motive for doing that. Given he looked like the best footballer and also a divisive character.

Well if he is over his injury before the end of filming he is 100% coming back.

They showed a ton of him in the Ep though and started to move him from villain to semi-likeable "oh he's a dick because his dad died" in that Ep so I just doubt they then would have booted him off
