Me either, I did that about 4 or 5 times in the dying stages of our game on Saturday. Just seems like he's been in the thick of it lately.

The Sydney player last year, the Suns player last year, and Reid a couple of weeks ago.

I can't believe if you get the footy first then slide in to your opponent it's a free to the bloke standing. If you slide in to an opponet with out ball contact then it can be a free. I wonder if the day people clash heads and you get a Richard Osborne situation happen again then maybe some will have a different opinion....

if you Slide feet first (ala Lindsay Thomas / Gary Rown incident) pay the free kick, if you are putting your head/body over the ball and make contact low, play on Simple as that, if we see the rule stay in its current form and in conjuntion with how tough they are on holding the pill these days its inevitable that blokes will start being second to the footy on purpose to gain a free kick
