Umm no
Although a rabble ATM Melbourne will turn it around.
You also get to play at the MCG most weeks and hardly travel.
Plus living in Melbourne is better than living in Perth which is like living on Mars

Serious? I reckon Perth is awesome!!

(Doesn't need to be said that Melbourne is too, particularly if you're a young buck)

Really Jim, like "living on mars" is that right? Having never lived there myself; what's it like?

Yes this is an interesting issue am Bays. Did Rendell not warn of clubs shying away from players with certain types of "backgrounds"?

Disclosure - I am not racist!! :P

No, you and Rendell certainly aren't racist with your way of thinking.

Surprised you know my way of thinking TSG, because I was only referring to Rendell's thoughts.

Feel sorry for Kane Mitchell. Two time premiership player and Sandover medallist at Claremont and now gets picked up by the Power as a rookie.

Going from a well organised and run club to a complete rabble most likely will play at the magpies and will go from a winning club to a club with no future and will play in front of less people than he did back home.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Yep, I'm sure he's mighty disappointed at getting a crack at AFL

Come off it, the WAFL wouldn't know what a decent crowd was if it bit them on the arse, reckon Port still drag in decent crowds.
Obviously Claremont fans are not great supporters considering the embarassing crowd for the GF

The Claremont supporters were there it was the East Fremantle supporters who didn't turn up.
Pack of front runners the Sharks went 0-3 on GF day. Tigers went 2-0.

At least we aren't losing 6 mill a year and have no future. Unlike the Bays & Richmond

Richmond were worse off at one stage I believe.
It was only the can rattling and top ups from the AFL that kept you going. Now with a decent board you have turned it around, well off field anyway ;)

FFS FE, you are part of the running of one of the worst run clubs in SA, you whinge about country clubs taking "your" players yet these players don't exactly come from your club, they come from other lower division clubs that you have already poached for money. TBH i think your a pompous Dickhead and the sooner you get off your pompous high horse the better off SA footy and this forum will be.
Glenelg, Richmond, Broadies and Claremont and u expect us to take you seriously, ffs your a laughing stock at so many different levels.
Once you accept your just a feeder club for country footy you will sleep much better at night

Bit harsh. Lived in Perth for the last 12 months and the lifestyle, weather and birds are unreal. The money floating around Perth too makes it very appealing especially with all clubs 3rd party deals :)

Yet despite that Freo regularly play in front of bigger crowds, have a brighter future, have more money in nearly all departments and are going to be successful sooner than Melbourne IMO.
