Talk on the national game

Scarlo must be broke to write and sell this stuff. As one of our best ever players I'd prefer he let his football do the talking. Not a good look for mine.

Well if thats the biggest revelation he makes in his book it will be a best seller.

Looking forward to other riveting biography's from other gun backman like Maxwell, Dawson, Presti and Blake.

Agreed.
If that's the best story he can up with inside the AFL, it ain't going to be much of a read.
Just goes to show, mention the Pies, you produce headlines.

My understanding of Scarlo is pretty much what REB says. He should leave it on the field.

Fair call. Our younger players have come on but our older champs cant stay on the field. Add our woefull lack of big man strength and this year looks like it might peter out for us.

You lot cats supporters or crow supporters. Lose one game and it's all over.

just being realistic

we haven't played well all year

IF we could play four quarters we would win the flag, no doubt about it

but the problem is we haven't played four quarters this year, and add to that we have given up good leads in the last month isn't what you need heading towards finals

far too inconsistent

Cats were pretty good after the Brisbane loss beating freo and the hawks ( and melb) but not much chop since. Lots of love for them out there still, seem to be everyone's second fab side... Even the umpires love them!
Selwood and motlop just need to go near the ball to get a free. Count was 8-0 in the last quarter last night and 25-11 for the game.

Lol. We've lost four games and beaten all the top teams and you're saying we're in trouble. This team knows how to win against the best. Ask hawks or swans supporters if they'll be happy to meet us in first week of finals. I know what their answer will be. Go Cats!!!!!

Geelong seem to be missing Christensen quite a bit. Past 7 games has seen you lose to teams currently sitting 10, 12 and 13. hardly a good look heading into finals. unless you play Hawthorn, wouldn't be expecting too much of the cats come september. Also think harry Taylor has gone off the boil a bit since becoming a swing man, much like Carlile at essendon.
