Adelaide - 7
Brisbane - 0
Carlton - 5
Collingwood - 3 (Plus 2 Blockbusters)
Essendon - 5 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Fremantle - 0
GWS - 1
Geelong - 5 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Gold Coast - 0
Hawthorn - 1 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Melbourne - 1 (Plus 2 Blockbusters)
Nth Melbourne - 1 (Gd Friday)
Port - 3
Richmond - 7 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
St. Kilda - 4 (including Gd Friday)
Sydney - 7
West Coast - 2
Western Bulldogs - 4

So off that list - Sydney & Carlton look to be the most looked after. Can argue that Sydney have been up the top for a long time now so we aren't going to suffer watching the Swans 7 times on prime time unlike Carlton! I actually enjoy watching Sydney on a Friday night. GWS only the 1. Yes they may have only a couple thousand supporters but they play good footy and are one of the top sides that would have a lot of people watching on TV. Melbourne stiff as well with only the 1. IMO, Carlton should have no more than 1-2 games on prime time TV and that is being nice!

Would be interesting to see how many Saturday night free to air games there are too and add them into the mix.

Adelaide only playing with a red Sherrin twice in next year's minor round.

It does beg the question..... the big dance is still a Day game, should teams look at playing X amount of games during the day, during each season?

AFL have not released the start time for the GF as yet. Every chance it will be a twilight match in 2018.

Twilight would be great. Extra time to get on the sauce pregame

Or if it’s anything like this year, I might be able to pass out by the second half

I have never understood why people are so angry about a change of timeslot. The only reason it’s been traditional in the afternoon is because the AFL was around before stadium lights.

If there was some other reason to keep that tradition that would be fine but I can’t think of one. So I don’t really feel strongly about a timeslot. If it’s a twilight or night grand final it will still be the same game

I like the NRL GF timeslot so not fussed if they change the AFL GF.

My only concern is the 2nd half is normally a little difficult to recall the next day as is so starting the game an hour or so later might make that task even harder.

Yep. Even though I stuck it out I don’t recall much of this years second half due to me trying to drown my sorrows early

I can barely remember any of it, bit of a blur.

Fancy recounting your version of events to help me piece it together?
