Port should have taken their tarps

But, no doubt, it will be spruiked as the main event of the 21st Century
Weatherill is already predicting a new China boom

Surprised the tarps didn't make the flight! Some great propaganda by port to say it was a sell out.

Does anyone else think that one of Hawthorn or Sydney can still make the finals this year.

With the top few teams dropping games recently it seems the ladder has tightened up, bit of a squeeze if you will. Seems like the top 4 seems more getable now for more teams with Adelaide and Geelong failing recently. Really Sydney are 3 games and % out of the 8. And considering its round 8, maybe if they get a run on can get there.

From my view perhaps its just based on their past. But easily those two could get on a run.

That was kind of what I was getting up

Not sure how a sell out for a game where there would have been no 'non members showing up' could have seen so little seats.

Throw in the fact the AFL had to give the rights to Chinese tv for free three days before the game suggests the amount of interest in this game was grossly exaggerated.

It would also go some way to explaining Koch's massive over reaction to the guernsey debacle

I would love to see the exact income / expenditure costs including all expenses such as 'research and promotion costs which saw numerous travels' costs of sending the squad over including all costs such as travel, transport, hotels etc etc versus the income from sponsorship

I actually don't have an issue with the venture just kind of feels like we haven't been given all truths and there has been a fair bit of creative licence from Port and the AFL.
