It's the most even top 8 in living memory.

Might be even but I still think there is only 4 sides maybe 5 that can win it this year

Disagree - I could make a case for all 8.
Even West Coast if they win a couple on the road & get on a run.
North will be much better also when players start returning from injury.
WB's showed tonight they're capable, Crows currently the in form side of the comp.
Hawks naturally, Swans & Cats have a wealth of talent & the Giants can beat anyone as well.

West Coast will have to win 2 finals on the road so that rules them out for me. I just don't see the Dogs having enough class to go all the way just yet and feel they are still a year or two away from really challenging.

Crows can only go as high as 5th with a win tomorrow but reckon they will be top 4 by seasons end

Can go 2nd but would need to make up 10%, just a win will be fine

So as Jim said they can only go to 5th.
107 point win to go 4th, 132 to go to 2nd

Disagree, think we can rule out teams on the spudness of some players.
Players who I think will never be premiership players, while these players are in best 22s their teams cant win it.
Cheney, Biggs, Firrito, Thomas, Petrie, Jetta, Kersten and Palmer. Swans cant win without Tippet and need Reid too.
If these players are on the outer when finals come around their teams can win
Nothings changed for me from early on, just play Swans v Hawks now

But they wont be. Hawks were so good they carried Spangher and Shoenmakers to a premiership. These other teams are not in that league, they are genuine depth players only

Couple points;

1- I am watching the replay of the Swans v Dogs. I heard the SCG called a pretty ground. Looks like a continual patch up job and looks shithouse in my books.

2- this goal line technology is a joke as we know. If they are going to do it they need to have synchronised timing on numerous angles inc goal line both sides and hot spot technology on one of them. Also is there cameras on the behind area? Hate to see a team lose by a point on the final siren.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Melbourne look like they are on here. Crows smashed it early and thought it was going to be easy. Our skills have been poor so if we fix that up we should be ok.

Jayden hunt looks like a jet. Giving them real run off half back

Dees look to be playing similar style to the Crows. Despite a few errors from both its a good game to watch, heaps of leg speed on both sides, shootout well on the cards. Crows need their 3 key forwards to start hitting the scoreboard. Although before that they need to start winning some centre clearances.
